Students in Alexandroupolis Celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities
On the morning of Monday, students from 14 schools in Alexandroupolis gathered in front of the city hall to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities by singing ‘No One Alone’ by Michalis Hatzigiannis and using sign language. The initiative, led by Smaro Lazaridou from the Special Primary School, aimed to foster collaboration among local schools post-COVID. The event highlighted the importance of raising awareness about disabilities beyond this designated day and promoting equal opportunities in society.
