A 46-year-old police officer in Thessaloniki has been sentenced to 12 months in prison, with a three-year suspended sentence, for making indecent remarks to a female colleague. The court found him guilty of insulting the dignity of a dependent employee and illegal possession of a knife. During a meeting, the officer displayed a folding knife and an obscene object while addressing the complainant inappropriately. Despite his denial of the charges and claims of using the object for training, the court ruled against him and he has been placed in suspension by the police leadership.
