Greek Police Arrest Two for Olive Theft Involving Stolen Municipal Vehicle

The Greek Police have arrested a 41-year-old Romanian and a 34-year-old Bulgarian for stealing 33 bags of olives from the Agricultural Cooperative of Glyfadas using a stolen municipal vehicle. The suspects were apprehended in Gargalianoi after reportedly stealing the truck on December 5, loading the olives, and attempting to process them at an oil mill. The stolen olive value is estimated at around 1,500 euros. They now face charges of theft and will be presented to the local prosecutor for questioning.
