The eagerly awaited sequel to the acclaimed MENA musical ‘Sukkar’ is set to premiere at the 2024 Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) in Jeddah. Directed by Tamer Mahdy, the film features prominent young talents including Hala Al Turk, and is produced by MBC Group. Following the successful original film and inspired by Jean Webster’s ‘Daddy-Long-Legs,’ ‘Sukkar’ promises engaging storytelling paired with original music.
