Syrian Islamist rebel leader Abu Mohammad al-Jolani has announced his arrival in Damascus after the city fell to rebel forces. The commander, known as Ahmad al-Sareh, kissed the ground upon entering the capital, expressing unwavering determination for their cause. Al-Jolani, head of the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), conveyed a message of confidence and commitment to achieving the goals of their revolution through the official Syrian television now controlled by rebels.
