Thomas Tumler Secures First World Cup Victory in Beaver Creek

Thomas Tumler of Switzerland claimed his first World Cup win in the giant slalom at Beaver Creek, finishing just 0.12 seconds ahead of Brazil’s Lucas Pinheiro Braathen, who achieved Brazil’s first-ever podium finish in a World Cup race. Despite a strong performance in the initial run, Tumler managed to hold off Braathen’s attack. Swiss skier Marco Odermatt experienced another disappointment, failing to finish the second run, while Loïc Meillard ended in 13th place after struggling during the race. The next races will be held in Val d’Isère.
