The Friends of Music Society in Kalamata will host the Athens State Orchestra on December 14, 2024, for a performance of ‘The Nutcracker’. Conducted by German maestro Cornelia von Kerssenbrock and featuring violinist Noé Inui, the concert will include works by Iakovos Chaliassas, Ludwig van Beethoven, and P. I. Tchaikovsky. An introductory talk will precede the concert at 7:15 PM, led by musician Nikolaos Laari. Tickets are available at the ‘Bibliopolis’ bookstore.
