This weekend, women will compete in World Cup speed races in Beaver Creek for the first time since 2015. The event includes a downhill race on Saturday and a Super-G on Sunday. Swiss athlete Lara Gut-Behrami, who has fond memories of this venue, will be among the eight Swiss women competing, alongside others such as Corinne Suter and Michelle Gisin. The races mark a significant return to a famed location for alpine skiing, and the women will first conduct training runs leading up to the events.
