Greek officials, including the Undersecretary for Civil Protection, inspected the aftermath of the BORA natural disaster in the streams of Agios Ioannis Piliou and Horefto Zagoras. They identified inadequate existing technical structures and planned the installation of a Bailey bridge to enhance safety for vehicles and pedestrians. The Thessaly region will also construct protections along the riverbanks to prevent erosion and future flooding risks. Additional artificial bridging works are planned to improve water drainage and facilitate cleaning.
