Olivier Christen, France’s national anti-terrorism prosecutor, stated in a televised interview that no fully orchestrated jihadist threat has been clearly detected recently from Syria towards France. He highlighted the presence of French jihadists in Syria, including 66 women and 65 men detained in Kurdish-controlled camps, with additional individuals linked to Al-Qaeda and a rebel faction. Christen expressed concern over the increasing number of minors involved in terrorism-related charges, noting 18 this year compared to just 2-3 in previous years.
