Minister Mona Keijzer of Housing and Spatial Planning is hosting a housing summit aimed at tackling the urgent housing shortage in the Netherlands, with a goal of adding 100,000 homes annually, two-thirds of which need to be affordable. Despite the significant challenges, including funding issues and the need for regulatory simplifications, Keijzer hopes to establish concrete agreements with various stakeholders in the housing and construction sectors.
