Teen Sentenced for Vandalizing Thessaloniki Metro Station
A 19-year-old was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for three years, for vandalizing walls and windows at the ‘Venizelos’ Metro Station in Thessaloniki. He admitted to spray-painting ‘H.A.T.E.’ as a declaration of love for his girlfriend. The court recognized his youthful age as a mitigating factor, marking the incident as the first arrest related to vandalism since the Metro began operations.
