Davos and Verbier Crack Down on Drug Dealers Amid Celebrity Ski Season

Authorities in Swiss ski resorts Verbier and Davos have launched a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, leading to the arrest of 26 suspected dealers, primarily from France. The operations revealed a network likened to an ‘Uber for cocaine,’ with personalized delivery services catering to customers in luxury chalets. In Verbier alone, ten kilograms of cocaine, along with smaller quantities of other drugs, were seized. Police officials emphasize that drug activities are not limited to Verbier, as similar operations emerge across various ski resorts, highlighting the lucrative market driven by wealthy tourists.
