Greek Court Rules Tax on Judicial Officials Constitutional for 2021

The Greek Salary Court has ruled that the requirement for judicial and prosecutorial officials to pay the solidarity contribution for the 2021 tax year is constitutional. The ruling, led by Vice President Konstantinos Koulis and rapporteur Dimitris Liappis from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, confirmed that the exemption from this tax did not disadvantage judicial officials compared to other public sector earnings, as all categories of incomes were similarly affected by this charge.
