Fifa has officially designated Saudi Arabia as the host for the 2034 men’s football World Cup, while Spain, Portugal, and Morocco will jointly host the 2030 tournament. This decision was made during an Extraordinary Fifa Congress meeting where all 211 member nations participated via video link. To celebrate 100 years of the World Cup, three matches in 2030 will also take place in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Norway abstained from voting on the 2034 tournament due to concerns over the bidding process.
