New Archaeological Discoveries Uncovered in Athens
Recent archaeological excavations at the intersection of Erechtheion and N. Kallisperi streets in Athens have yielded new findings, including fragments of sculptures and a torso of a male statue. These artifacts, dating back to the 5th century AD, are currently being transferred to restoration labs for preservation. The ongoing research aims to fully document the conditions surrounding these discoveries, shedding light on significant historical periods, particularly the end of antiquity.
