The Brombeer-Coalition has reached an agreement with the Left Party regarding their potential involvement in future government activities, facilitating CDU leader Mario Voigt’s election as Ministerpräsident. The Left Party demands that collaboration with the AfD is excluded. Voigt needs the support of at least one member from the Left Party to secure a win in the first voting round, which will take place in the Thüringen parliament on Thursday morning.
