Svenja Schulze Delivers Winter Aid Package During Visit to Ukraine Amid Ongoing Conflict
Bundesentwicklungsministerin Svenja Schulze has arrived in Kyiv, Ukraine, to deliver a ‘Winter Package’ aimed at boosting energy supplies amidst ongoing Russian offensives. During her visit, Schulze plans discussions with government officials and civil society representatives while inspecting reconstruction projects. This visit marks her second trip to Ukraine this year, following a Russian missile attack that worsened the humanitarian crisis. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack as ‘brutal’ and called for more military support from Western allies in light of mounting casualties.
