Christmas Concert of the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki Promises Hope Through Music
The annual Christmas concert by the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, conducted by Nayden Todorov, highlights renowned compositions by European composers, featuring soloist Simos Papanas on violin. The concert embraces themes of hope, with performances including Ravel’s Boléro, Saint-Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Smetana’s Vltava, and Sibelius’ Finlandia. The Mixed Choir of Thessaloniki, taught by Mary Konstantinidou, also joins in this musical celebration aimed at supporting the objectives of the Χ.Α.ΝΘ. organization.
