Planned strikes on the London Underground have been called off after favorable negotiations between the Aslef union and Transport for London (TfL). Originally set to commence this Thursday, the industrial action was suspended following a ‘significantly improved’ pay proposal from London Underground management. Union representatives will present the offer to members for discussion. TfL’s Claire Mann expressed optimism about the offer, emphasizing its fairness and affordability for both workers and the city of London.
