A fire erupted on the roof of a house in the Roda area of northern Corfu. The local fire department responded with three vehicles and six firefighters, managing to contain the blaze. Fortunately, the occupants were evacuated safely. However, one firefighter sustained a minor injury when part of the roof collapsed. Initial reports suggest the injury is not serious.
