French glass manufacturer Duralex has transformed into a cooperative and secured a 750,000 euros loan from the state following significant financial difficulties. The company’s restructuring was supported by local elected officials and 60% of its employees. Despite receiving financial backing, Duralex faces substantial challenges ahead, as it aims to increase its revenue from 24.6 million euros in 2023 to 40 million euros by 2029.
