Disruption on Thessaloniki Metro Due to Power Outage
A train on the Thessaloniki Metro experienced a stoppage on Saturday afternoon due to a power outage between the ‘Fleming’ and ‘Euclid’ stations. Passengers were safely evacuated through a tunnel walkway to the nearest station. The operating company, THEMA, confirmed that all safety protocols were followed and that the metro service has since been restored without incident. The power was restored at 7:34 PM, allowing normal operations to resume.
