While many schools call for more diversity in teaching, Khadidja, a Muslim, feels she cannot teach Catholicism authentically. With the majority of primary schools in Ireland being Catholic, this requirement limits her job prospects, despite a growing acknowledgment of the need for a more diverse, inclusive teaching workforce.
