The Greek Parliament approved the state budget for the fiscal year 2025 with 159 votes in favor and 139 against, following a roll call electronic vote. The majority of positive votes came from 155 members of the New Democracy party and 4 independent lawmakers. The budget includes significant support for defense spending and the expenses of the Presidency of the Republic, while two independent members were absent during the vote.
