The construction of a marina in the coastal area of Pylaia is now set to proceed, promising significant benefits for the city and the broader Central Macedonia region. This project is expected to create new jobs and enhance opportunities in the maritime and tourism sectors, according to Yiannis Papageorgiou, coordinator of the Prime Minister’s Office in Thessaloniki. The office played a crucial role in promoting this investment by navigating bureaucratic challenges and securing necessary political support, with contributions from Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni.
