Greece Reports Significant Budget Surplus and Revenue Increase for 2024
Greece’s primary budget surplus for the January-November 2024 period reached €12 billion, surpassing both the target of €9.912 billion and the surplus of €5.826 billion from 2023. The country also reported net revenues of €66.722 billion, a slight increase of 0.46% compared to targets, while total budget expenditures decreased to €62.346 billion. Significant payments included allocations for heating assistance and flood damage compensation.
