Giannis Papadopoulos, President of ERT, met with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Phanar. The meeting lasted over half an hour and was conducted in a positive atmosphere. Patriarch Bartholomew expressed gratitude for ERT’s ongoing support in promoting the Orthodox message, while Papadopoulos acknowledged the Patriarch’s significant role within the Orthodox community. ERT plans to participate in the upcoming commemorative events for the 1,700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council, and is organizing an exhibition showcasing the history of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
