Urfan Sharif, 43, and Beinash Batool, 30, have been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of their daughter, 10-year-old Sara Sharif. The couple subjected Sara to over two years of severe abuse resulting in her death. Their uncle, Faisal Malik, 29, was also convicted for his role in allowing the child’s suffering. At the Old Bailey, Sharif received a minimum of 40 years while Batool was given 33 years in prison.
