The Harrowing Reality of One of the World’s Largest Brothels in Bangladesh
In Daulatdia, Bangladesh, one of the world’s largest brothels houses approximately 1,500 women living under dire conditions of exploitation and poverty. Many women are forced into sex work at a young age, often as children, and a significant number of clients prefer unprotected sex, heightening health risks. The existence of such establishments highlights deep-rooted social issues, with women and children deprived of basic rights and support. Initiatives are underway to provide hope and education to the children of these women, aimed at breaking the cycle of despair.
