Emergency Response at Dresden’s Semperoper Concert Due to Illness
During a concert at the Dresden Semperoper, several attendees reported nausea and dizziness, prompting an emergency response. Notably, some emergency personnel also experienced similar symptoms. Medical teams treated three individuals on site, with two requiring hospitalization. Initial investigations revealed no harmful substances in the venue, and the audience evacuated calmly after the concert ended. One attendee was found unconscious, while the concert featured performances by the Sächsische Staatskapelle under conductor Philippe Herreweghe.
