Greek Deputy Minister of Sports, Yiannis Vroutsis, announced new measures to address juvenile delinquency through sports participation. Together with Justice Minister Georgios Floridis, Vroutsis stated that minor offenders will be guided to sports clubs where they can choose a sport, with the aim of turning their aggression into positive energy. This initiative is reportedly the first of its kind in Greece, with enthusiasm from children already participating in local sports organizations.
