Greece Imposes €5.5 Million Fines on Eight Multinational Companies
Greece has announced fines totaling €5.5 million against eight multinational companies following a compliance check involving 443 product codes. The fines are in accordance with Article 54 of Law 5045/2023, with discrepancies found in 191 codes. Companies penalized include Johnson & Johnson Hellas, Unilever Hellas, and Colgate Palmolive Hellas, among others, with fines up to €1 million. The action follows recommendations from the Interagency Market Control Unit.
