The multicultural theater group Odysseus Sisters from Castrop-Rauxel, Germany, visited Trikala, Greece, strengthening ties between the two cities. Founded in 1988 to support older Greek workers, the group presented the play “Wo geht`s denn hier zum Wolkenkuckucksheim,” inspired by Aristophanes’ ‘Birds,’ showcasing the talents of 15 actresses aged 50 to 86. Following the performance, members engaged in a collaborative workshop with local theater artists, exchanging techniques and ideas. Plans for a future meet-up in Germany were discussed, promising continued cultural exchange.
