The University of Thessaly has received approval from the General Accounting Office for €2.6 million to fund repairs at its Central Library in Volos, damaged by recent severe weather events, Daniel and Elias. Rector Charalampos Billinis expressed confidence that this financial backing marks a significant step toward restoring the library, emphasizing coordinated efforts with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of National Economy. With studies completed, preparations for the project’s tendering are set to begin, ensuring the university community’s needs are met moving forward.
