According to the Hospitality Association, hotel occupancy rates are projected at 80% during Christmas and 95% for New Year’s, driven by last-minute bookings. Christmas visitors are primarily from Greece and neighboring Balkan countries, while New Year’s tourists are notably more international, with a considerable number from the Balkans.
