On December 20, 2023, the annual Christmas event hosted by the Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki took place at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Organized by Archimandrite Varnavas Giagou, the celebration featured Christmas hymns and songs performed by various youth choirs and the Thessaloniki Youth Band. Attendees included prominent church figures, such as Metropolitan Anthimos of Thessaloniki. Metropolitan Philotheos expressed gratitude to all participants, emphasizing the event’s success and distributing pastoral books and icons as blessings to the youth.
