Vasari Corridor in Florence Reopens After €10 Million Restoration

The Vasari Corridor, a historic passageway built for the Medici family 500 years ago, is reopening to the public following an extensive €10 million restoration. The corridor, designed by Giorgio Vasari and closed for eight years, offers breathtaking views of Florence from its 73 windows. Restoration efforts include modern upgrades for safety and accessibility, and Italian Culture Minister Alessandro Giuli celebrated its return to the city’s heritage as a significant cultural milestone.
