Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Athens Olympics with Modern Art Exhibition
The Olympic Museum of Athens is hosting a new contemporary art exhibition titled ’18 Dialogues with 2004′ to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Athens 2004 Olympics. Featuring 18 artworks by esteemed Greek painter Dimitris Koukouvakis, the exhibition runs until March 29, 2025. The pieces draw inspiration from Olympic sports, engaging with the museum’s permanent collection and promoting the values of Olympism. The initiative aligns with the museum’s events leading up to the Paris 2024 Olympics, showcasing Greece’s role in Olympic history.
