The ferry route between Corfu and Igoumenitsa is currently closed to open-type vessels due to strong northeast winds reaching up to 5-6 Beaufort. Only closed ferries are operating. Additionally, high winds have caused three tree falls in Argyrades and Giannades, requiring fire department intervention, while heavy rains have flooded roads, particularly in the Spilia area of Corfu.
