On December 23, 2024, Greek Environment and Energy Minister Theodoros Skylakakis and Israeli Energy and Infrastructure Minister Eli Cohen signed a strategic bilateral agreement aimed at enhancing regional energy stability and innovative projects in the Eastern Mediterranean. This agreement marks a significant milestone in Greece-Israel cooperation on energy issues in light of climate change challenges, including the establishment of a green energy corridor from Israel to the EU through Greece.
