On December 24, 240 skiers were evacuated by helicopter from the Festoure ski lift at the Superdévoluy resort in Hautes-Alpes after an electrical failure affected the lift’s motors. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. The rescue operation involved a helicopter, mountain police, firefighters, and the lift operation team, while local authorities provided support on the ground.
