French Trends in Post-Christmas Gift Reselling
A recent Kantar survey for eBay reveals that more and more French people are reselling their unwanted Christmas gifts, with over one million announcements made on resale sites on December 25. This year, 39% of respondents indicated they resell gifts that don’t suit them to purchase items they truly desire, compared to last year’s focus on saving money. While over a quarter of citizens disapprove of this practice, perspectives are shifting, especially among younger generations, with 57% of individuals aged 25-34 having resold a gift.
