The scam unfolded on November 3, when unknown individuals contacted the victim and convinced him to pay various amounts as a deposit. Following an investigation, police arrested two suspects, a man and a woman, with assistance from the Daphne Security Department. In light of this incident, the Cretan Police urge the public to be cautious with online sales and to report any suspicious activity immediately.
