Project for Water Supply in Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos Included in EU Funding Program
The Cretan Development Agency has announced the inclusion of the water supply project for Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos in the EU’s 2021-2027 Climate Change program. The funding, amounting to over 22 million euros, was approved by Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis. This initiative is seen as a significant advancement in addressing critical water supply issues in Eastern Crete, as highlighted by the CEO of Cretan Development Agency, Aris Papadogiannis.
