Rijnstate Hospital in Arnhem has initiated a program to temporarily loan staff to other hospitals in the region. The hospital has sufficient personnel and aims to mitigate healthcare shortages by allowing operating assistants to gain experience in different settings for up to three months. Team manager Mirjam de Stigter noted this initiative aligns with their goal to maintain accessible care and share knowledge while acknowledging the risk of staff permanently moving to other institutions.
