New Electricity Pricing Implementation in Greece as Green Tariffs Go Live

Greece has launched its green tariff electricity billing, with many suppliers keeping prices unchanged since December. The price per kilowatt-hour starts at 15.4 cents, while some customers may pay as much as 21.1 cents. Suppliers are increasingly focusing on fixed tariffs, while state subsidies are anticipated for variable household rates. A new pricing schedule will be implemented on February 1, 2024, featuring reduced charges during specific hours. New dynamic tariffs for energy-intensive businesses are expected to be announced soon.
