In Ptolemaida, a Christmas train will welcome visitors until the day of Epiphany. According to Kostas Ioannidis, the Deputy Mayor of Culture, the train, operational since December 14, offers a delightful 20-25 minute ride through significant historical sites, connecting the local market, library, park, paleontological museum, and main square. The festive program, titled ‘Nifada ti Ptolemaida Eides,’ features local customs, revived traditions, and various events. The festivities will culminate with performances by the Momogeroi.
