New Exhibition Celebrates 100 Years of the Charles Dickens Museum in London
A new exhibition titled “The Dickens in Doughty Street: 100 Years of the Charles Dickens Museum” will open in February at the museum dedicated to the 19th-century author Charles Dickens. This exhibition commemorates the centenary of the museum’s founding at Dickens’ former home. Highlights include a chalk and pastel sketch by Dickens, personal items, and artifacts associated with his literary legacy, such as a copy of David Copperfield brought to Antarctica during the Terra Nova Expedition.
