A man tragically died after a 300ft fall from a mountain ridge at Sharp Edge on Blencathra in the Lake District. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, prompting the Keswick Mountain Rescue Team to respond. Volunteers successfully recovered the body, which was then transported via air ambulance. The team expressed gratitude to fellow fell walkers who assisted during the rescue and extended their condolences to the victim’s family.
